Compare Petcoke with Lignite
Lignite,
a natural product, is found at Rajpardi, Panandro, and Bhavnagar in
Gujarat. It has higher moisture as well as volatile content of 30-40%,
whereas fixed carbon is low in content. Sulphur is 3.0-5.0%, calorific
value is about 2800-3800 kcal / kg. On the other hand, the calorific
value of Petcoke is 8200-8500 kcal / kg. On heat equivalent, 2.5 to 3 kg
lignite is replaced by Petcoke of 1 kg.
It
shows that the same heat equivalent of Petcoke with 75 gm of Sulphur
has to be injected into furnace. Therefore, the formation of SO2 along
with lignite is higher about 1.4 times than Petcoke. When it is used as
fuel, limestone has to be injected to soak up SO2 as soon as it is
formed. Some users offer wet lime scrubbers to soak up SO2 from the gas.
Hence, the formation of SO2 is much less than lignite with Petcoke.
Compare Petcoke with Coal
Coal
is a natural fossil fuel found in Central, Eastern and North East
India. It is imported from Indonesia as well as South Africa. The ash
content of this is very high up to 45% whereas the ash content of
imported coal is about 2 -15%.
The
main problem of solid fuel is the formation of suspended particulate
matter (SPM) with the flue gas. The ash content is less than 1% in
Petcoke. Therefore, the main problem is emission of suspended
particulate matter in furnaces and boilers that is non-existent with
Petcoke if compared to coal.

standard. Our offered products are :
Infrastructure
Backed
by a huge infrastructure, we have been capable of delivering a wide
variety of qualitative products in the market. We have segregated the
whole infrastructure into several units in a very systematic order in
accordance to the work flow. These units are well installed with all the
latest machinery and tools which are sourced from the most reliable
vendors of the market. Further, our wide warehouse enabled us to store
bulk qualitative products for a long period of time and deliver the
consignments within the estimated time period.
Warehouse
Understanding
the need of safe storage of products, we have developed a capacious
warehouse under one-roof. Our warehouse is well segmented into various
sections that are named according to types of products and some of their
specifications. This systematic segregation not only helps to reduce
the retrieval time but also ensure delivery of consignment within the
scheduled time frame. Our warehouse is neat, clean and has proper
ventilation, which is helpful to keep the stored products safe from any
adverse environmental condition. We have appointed a separate team of
experts that regularly inspect the stocked products till their final
dispatch to customers.
